The company began operating in 1992 as a daughter company of American McHugh Construction, mostly performing class ‘A’ office fit-out for western companies.

(McHugh Construction – well known general contractor from Chicago, established in 1897.)

After financial crisis in 1998 McHugh Construction decided to close its business in Russia.

Olson Construction was established on the basis of the existing team and continued providing fit-out, M&E and general contracting services.

After 3 years of successful operations in 2001 Olson Construction joined Skanska and was renamed to Skanska Olson.
(Skanska – Swedish construction group, established in 1887).

Skanska is notable for following the highest standards of business ethics, transparency, safety and environment management. This fact greatly influenced at our company and pushed it to further development. In particular:
- we developed and introduced Integrated Management System, which describes all main aspects of company’s operations
- in 2004 the company was certified by British Standards Institute (quality – ISO9001, safety – OHSAS 18001, environment – ISO14001)

In 2006 Skanska Easr Europe Oy (shareholder of Skanska Olson’s shares) sold 100% of shares to one of the companies from Investment and Industrial Group Eurasia.

In June 2010 Interior Services Group plc ("ISG"), the £1bn turnover international construction
services specialist, acquired OLSON ENTERPRISE, which now continues operating under the new name ISG OLSON.
